Tips & Tricks: September

I’ve been playing with all sorts of coast themed subject this month and thought you might like to see a quick watercolour sketch I completed of an oystercatcher.

I’ve seen these birds many times on the seashore, particularly in Wales on the Pembrokeshire coast and I love the way they scuttle along the sand looking for treats. I used a combination of waterproof and watersoluble pens for this demo, I hope you enjoy it, Ali
