Ali’s Inspiration

Ali is fortunate to live in a part of the world that has a never ending source of subjects that inspire her to paint.
From the landscape of her home county of Dorset, the wildlife that surrounds her home, and the animals that she keeps and encounters, she spends every day observing and documenting her world to pass on to others through her paintings and tuition.

There is a large part of what inspires her that you might not know about however, and that’s the women of her ancestry.
Ali’s grandmother and father have spent many years tracing her family history and Ali continues to try to understand more about those who came before her and their individual stories.
