The watercolour binder is crafted using hand-picked Kordofan gum arabic, distilled water, vegetable glycerin, and a touch of preservative. Each colour is individually formulated to highlight the unique characteristics of its pigment, ensuring vibrancy and performance.

Every element of these watercolours has been rigorously tested and refined. From selecting the highest quality gum arabic and distilling water to choosing vegetable glycerin for ethical reasons and optimising the preservative for longevity, there’s no detail left unchecked. Extensive research into UV resistance, pigment sourcing, and consulting directly with manufacturers has allowed us to create colours that are both rich and durable. Ali has even tested how the paint behaves when squeezed in pans and on palettes to prevent cracking and ensure easy reactivation with a damp brush.

The colour samples below are as accurate as possible when considering they have been scanned to high resolution with a quality scanner. For more accurate colour representation, please refer to Ali’s videos or you are welcome to email her to discuss your requirements further.
Colour samples were painted by hand on Fabriano Artistico Extra White watercolour paper with the exception of the Titanium White which is displayed on black watercolour paper.
