Autumn Leaves Part 3

Morning All, I have news, and while it might not seem big news, it certainly is to me as it has taken a little courage to say it out loud.

From mid-December to the beginning of March, I’m going to be taking a Learning Sabbatical in order to catch up with myself from the last four years of keeping my business sustainable through, and out the other side of, covid.

It may look as though I disappear for a short while but you know me, I will be beavering away behind the scenes on new projects, new ideas and a whole host of new tuition that is going to be very exciting during 2023.

It has been a scary decision to make as if you are self-employed, you don’t usually get to do things like this but with the support of my husband, family, friends and all you lovely people, I will be able to take a breather and return bigger and better than ever.

Over the next few weeks I will be announcing what I have remaining for Technique Tuesday, tuition in 2022 and some ‘save the date’ ideas for what to expect from March onwards, thank you in advance for your support and let’s see what I got up to during today’s broadcast:

It’s always scary to have that fancy piece of sparkling white paper sitting and waiting before you isn’t it? Even now I have to take a deep breath before plunging my brush into the colour and sloshing it around and I like it to the moment before stepping on stage from the dark safety of backstage into the glaring lights of a performance.

Still, we have started now and it’s looking interesting.

There’s no TT next week, sorry about that, I’m got a very heavy week and need as much time as possible to pack and plan for things but I will be back on the 15th, itching to continue. See you then, Ali.
