Tonal Values and how to use these skills for fur.

Hi there everyone, how are we all doing? Are we managing to find some creative time while we rush headlong to the festive season? As always, I am busy, busy, busy, my shopping is all done but only because I have got a lot of deadlines coming up and want to take a couple of days off during December, not because I’m being smug!
If you still need a gift for either a creative friend or to recommend for yourself, don’t forget there are lots of things to find on this website from tuition to materials or even a gift voucher to spend at a later date, I can help you with your shopping and you get to support a small family business at the same time. Have a browse through the shop here.

Last month’s TT was fun and I think some of you found the information about pencil sharpeners particularly useful, if you missed last month, don’t worry as you can catch up with it all here. This month, the lovely Julie has been very patient waiting for me to get to her question about tonal values, particularly in reference to animal portraits and so I will be tackling quite a chunky question during this broadcast.

Keep the questions coming in and do tune in to the chat on YouTube either live or archived afterwards so you can see what the Learning to Paint community was discussing.

After the broadcast has gone live you will be able to watch it back below, do leave me a question in the comments either here or on YouTube and I will look forward to you all joining in, in the future, Ali
