Tips & Tricks: February 2025

Welcome to February’s Tips video - how are all your creative projects going? Have you discovered anything new yet this year? Don’t worry if the creative bug hasn’t reached you yet, it will. Immerse yourself in other things like photography, reading or baking - these are all as important as sitting down to paint, you know me, no hierarchy to be found here!

This video was joyful to make. Splashing paint around to creating patterns and then finding a way of knocking areas back to pull tree shapes out of the chaos. Since I filmed this I have repeated the process a couple of times for other subjects and it’s a lovely way to promote freedom and alternative ways of thinking into your process.
